Today at lunch, we asked Addison what she learned at church today. She responded, "about Jesus." "What about Jesus?" "His arms." She then added, "He made sandmers (sandwiches) for everyone." When we got back in the car and looked at the little lesson we realized they learned about Jesus feeding the 5,000. She sawing the bread and fish and concluded He must had made sandwiches for everyone.
Update on Jesus making sandmers...She now assumes that if Jesus made sandwiches (which she loves) He must make everything else she loves. "Jesus made the swings at the park." "Jesus made Meara's bedroom (which is a really pretty pink room). "Jesus made the pancake store."
To have the simple faith of a child.
