The shoes that saved Halloween
Addison has emphatically decided that she wants to be Belle for Halloween. Luckily, Grandma Gayle found a beautiful Belle costume, crown and all. As she had the costume on and was showing it off, she suddenly realized that she didn't have Belle shoes to go with the Belle costume. Apparently, this is the biggest dilemma of my three-year-old's entire life. On the way home (costume on) she tells me that her entire Halloween will just be "ruined" if she doesn't have the shoes to go along with it. Thus began the quest for acquiring the perfect shoes (without spending the $20 at the Disney store for them). We tried convincing her that sparkly pink ones would be perfect, but she insisted that pink shoes were for Sleeping Beauty. Thankfully, at Target today, we found shoes in a princess box that were sparkly pink, but because Belle was on the box, I was able to convince my little diva that they were for Belle too.
Thankfully, her Halloween will no longer be ruined.
