"Weeee"

Yesterday I went to a kid's resale shop, specifically looking for a little kitchen. I was so happy to find one in good condition, and I thought Addison would be really excited too. But then there was a toy that distracted her so much that she ceased to notice anything else in the store. A "wee" as she would calls it, everyone else would call it a slide. The child could not focus on anything else and just cried and cried to go on it. Since she was this passionate about something, I decided it would be cruel to pass up. So I packed it up in the car. It sat in the back seat taunting her the entire way home. She wanted to go on the slide so badly that she cried until she threw up. It was quite an impressive tantrum.
Now that the slide is here, she has not stopped playing on it. It is amazing that she can go up and down and up and down and up and down without ever growing bored. If only I would have discovered this earlier!

Baby Olivia

Baby Olivia was born last week. She is BJ and Pattie's third child. Now Addison has 11 cousins and one more on the way! We love new cousins!!!

Easter

So I don't have any pictures from Easter. Andy and I couldn't find the camera, so we figured we would get some pictures of Addison and us at Andy's parents house. Well we were there for about 30 minutes when poor Addison threw up everywhere. Our family had been fighting the stomach flu, but we thought she was all better. Unfortunately, her dress was ruined before we got pictures of her in it. She was so proud of her little dress too. She also had the cutest little bunny hat to wear, which she thought was just about the coolest thing ever. After she threw up she looked at her dress and said, "uh-oh," then cried that her pretty little dress was ruined.
We decided to leave right away since everyone was there (including new baby Olivia!). So Andy and I stopped on the way home and got ham steak and a box of potatoes for dinner- it was a very pathetic but memorable Easter.

Am I that huge?!

This weekend two of my girlfriends and I went to Chicago for a last "hoorhah" before we all have our babies in the next few months. Yes, the three of us were quite a spectacle wherever we went. Three very pregnant women trying to waddle our way around the city. Pretty funny.
On Saturday night we went to Dues for delicious Chicago style pizza. When they called my name, the hostess looked at me and said, "I'm sitting you in a booth. I sure hope you can fit." I wish I could say she said it jokingly, but she was very serious. We got a good laugh out of it.
And yes, I did fit. Quite well too.

Ear infections

I hate ear infections! Poor baby girl hates them more than me.

Visit from Aunt Tori

So Addison loves her Aunt Tori. She frequently talks about her, wants to call her, and is always asking to see her picture. Aunt Tori lives in Michigan, so we don't get to see her very often. This last weekend she came, along with her boyfriend Scott and friend Christine. It was a lot of fun having them here. I think Addison was trying to steal Aunt Tori's boyfriend, she loved Scott.
Thanks for coming you guys, we had fun having you!

I love you

Addison has a new favorite song. I'm sure everyone knows it but it starts off with "scidamarinc-a-dink-a-dink, scidamrinc-a-doo, I love you." (Andy and I spent quite a long time trying to figure out how to spell it- I hope you see what we are trying to say!) She sings the whole song pretty good. Her favorite part is the end which says, "and underneath the moon." She says it more like, "under mooooooooon." We love it.
The other night we were driving home from the store. Of course we were having a family sing-a-long. After we sang that song Andy said "I love you, Addison." She replied "I wuve you." She has never said it back, so it made our day. Now she says it on a frequent basis, which warms our heart every time.
