"Draw, Draw!"

So Addison has a new fetish, "draw draw." This basically translates to wanting to sit at the table with her crayons and color for about 1 minute and then procede to throw the crayons, eat the crayons, or just take the crayons in and out of the package. She is obsessed. I never really thought she understood what drawing and coloring really was, that is until this last Saturday.
Saturday morning Andy and I were trying to decide what to do. We didn't want to sit at home all day, but going to the mall or something like that felt really boring. So we decided to go to Milwaukee for the day. We had a nice lunch at Ebert and Gerberts, one of my favorite sub shops while I was in college (they are on college campuses throughout the country). Then we went to a really cool coffee shop. After that we decided to go to the Milwaukee Art Musuem. As we walked into the gallery and showed Addison the first painting she said, "Ooohhh, draw draw." She loved walking around and seeing all the paintings, it was adorable. She reached her peak of entertainment while we were viewing the Georgia O'Keefe exhibit (who wouldn't?!) She completely fell a part and cried louder than ever (well at least that is what it seemed like!). We dashed out of the musuem as fast as we could, while the security guards and other patrons gave us that glare that you can only get in an art musuem. As we walked toward our car Addison said, "Bye bye, draw draw."
