Sickies

I'm listening to my little guy cough in his sleep as I write this. I hate it when they cough in their sleep. I feel so helpless and I can't help but hold my breath as I wait for the cry that will eventually follow. So far, no cry yet. Addison is sick too. Not horribly sick, more like whiny, runny nose sick. Now Andy and I are following their lead. My ears and head started throbbing earlier today. Just when I thought we were in the clear.
Last night, Henry bear woke up having a really hard time breathing. It really freaked me out. Andy said we should take him in, which made me freak out even more. He is usually the collected one, thinking I'm crazy when I suggest taking the kids in to the doctor.
Once I got to the er, Henry was smiling to the nurses and gibbering to them.
Great, Henry. Can you just pretend to be sick? I felt so stupid.
After a flu test, x-ray, breathing treatment, and lots of waiting we were told it is just a respiratory virus, croup.
Oh, poor little Henry Bear.
