Catch a Snowflake

When is the last time you caught a snowflake with your tongue? It seems like winter no longer holds the magic that it once did. As a child, snow meant sledding and no school. Now all I see is getting the bottom of my jeans wet and dirty as I walk, or rushing to get inside as quickly as possible. Last night we were walking through the parking lot at Meijer, it was really cold and snowing pretty hard. Addison was in awe of the snow. She kept trying to catch the snowflakes with her hands. Then Andy showed her how to catch it with her tongue, it was funny to watch her stick her tongue out and then laugh as the cold wet snow hit her little mouth. It reminded me that winter can be magical.
