Garfield Park Conservatory
We just got back from the Garfield Park Conservatory, which we decided is the best kept secret in Chicago. Not only was it free, parking was free too! Walking through the rain forest, the tropical area, and the beautiful flowers was exhilarating for the four of us. This has been a long winter, it was nice to escape for a couple of hours! There was a quote from the man that built the conservatory, it said something about a park bringing comfort and rest to your soul. This one was like a big bowl of beef stew for our very cold hearts.

This sounds wonderful Pamela!! Where is it located? Lets get together (yeah, yeah, yeah). We're free this Thurs. or next Tues. Either of those work?
